Saharsa : Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Castes and Tribes, and BJP MP from Agra Ramashankar Kateria on June 13, 2017, said that all the development programmes initiated by the NDA government during last three years have proved to be a great success as PM Narendra Modi had checked the middlemen.
Kateria was addressing a `Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ programme organised by the HPCL on Saharsa District Board campus. He said the Modi government had launched one hundred programmes in the country during last three years for the welfare of poor who are now benefiting from them. The people believe that Modi government is pro poor, the BJP MP said. He said that Bihar government had failed to provide employment opportunities to the people as a result of which thousands of people were going outside the state in search of jobs. In 2017, about 90,000 labourers had migrated to other states in search of jobs, he claimed. Saharsa district BJP president Niraj Gupta presided over the meeting.
