Buxar : Modesty of an eight year old girl was outraged at village Akbarpur under Rajpur police station in Buxar district on September 15, 2018, by a youth of the same village. A named FIR was lodged with Women Police Station, Buxar, against Dipu Kumar of the same village. Police brought the girl over to Sadar Hospital,Buxar, for medical examination.
SHO, Buxar Women Police Station, Kanchan Kumari said that a minor of village Akabarpur under Rajpur police station had gone out of her house for washing the cloth when Dipu Kumar, 18, son of Vidyasagar Singh of the same village forcibly took her to a nearby room and outraged her modesty. Hearing her cry, her family members and villagers rushed to the spot and found Dipu Kumar on the spot.
Seeing the villagers approaching, Dipu Kumar fled away. When villagers and family members complained to his father, Vidyasagar Singh, he allegedly threatened them with dire consequences saying that his son could not do it and if they dared complain to police, he would kill the family members of the survivor.
