Mob blocks NH 28 (b) in Bagaha protesting functioning of powermen

Bagaha : An irate mob from Dindayalnagar locality on February 10, 2018, blocked NH 28 (b) near the village for hours protesting lapse on the part of powermen resulting in death of a Bullock and burn injury to Cartman Brijalal Yadav.

Sources said that the cartman with oxen was returning from Sugar Mill but came in contact with a livewire which had fallen on the ground. One of the oxen came in contact with the  wire suddenly and died on the spot while Cartman Brijlal sustained burn injuries and was admitted Government Hospital, Bagaha.

Hearing the news, a group of angry villagers assembled on the road near the village and blocked the NH28(b) for hours paralysing the traffic. SHO, Bagaha police station, Mohammad Ayub with police force reached the spot and pacified the protesters after which the blockade was lifted. Police assured adequate compensation to the injured Cartman.
