Mob attacks CO, cops in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : Circle Officer ( CO), Marwan, in Muzaffarpur, and cops accompanying him were attacked by a violent mob when they reached village Goriyara under Kajra police station to remove encroachment. They mob also tried to set them afire by throwing Kerosene and mobil on them forcing the CO and cops to make a hasty retreat.

On January 10, a mob had made murderous atttack on two SHOs of Gopalganj district when they reached village Khenpur under Paroo police station in Muzaffarpur to arrest one Ajay Yadav in connection with a liquor seizure case in Gopalganj. Both the SHOs are in hospital.
