MMMVM holds dharna at Ara

Ara : Under the banner of pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Vichar Manch (MMMVM) hundreds of people staged a day long dharana in front of the office of Bhojpur District Magistrate on September 25, 2018, in protest against restoration of the provisions of the SC/ST Act reverting the order of the Supreme Court by the Central Government.
Parashuram Pandey, President Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Vichar Manch, said that the Apex Court had reasonably ordered not to arrest anyone under the SC/ST prevention Act without verification to maintain the spirit.of the constitution, protect the fundamental rights and stop misuse of the Act but Prime Minister Narendra Modi reverted the order and restored the Act in toto for getting votes of the SC/ST. He added that innocent persons were being implicated under the Act and they can not apply for bail before six months of their arrest
This reminds the British rule, he said and added if the government does not withdraw this dracolian law, the Sawarn samaj would teach a lesson in the forthcoming election. Jitendra Kumar Ojha, Mani Pandey, Umakant Ojha, Buar Tiwari, Chandan Pandey, Sonu Rai, Arun Singh, Brijnath Dubey also addressed the gathering on the occasion.
