Bagaha : CPI(ML) activists with a large number of flood affected people paraded on main roads under Bagaha and Narakaiganj Sub- divisions of West Champaran district on September 9, 2017, shouting slogans against both the state and central governments alleging flood victims in Bihar were not provided adequate relief. Bagaha -Bettiah NH 28(b) was blocked by the  CPI(ML) workers led by Bhikhari Prasad and Lalbabu Gupta.

At Narakatiaganj,  hundreds of CPI(ML) supportrs blocked traffic near Meghauli on Narakatiaganj-Bettiah road for three hours demanding distribution of relief materials to even those families who do not figure in the official list of beneficiaries. A large number of beneficiaries were still deprived of cash relief, the ML workers alleged. CPI(ML) leaders Kedar Ram, Krishna Manjhi, Mukhatar Mian, Balkuyar Ram alleged that sharecroppers were being denied crops damage compensation.
