Ara : Bhojpur police recovered a married woman from Dihari village under Sandesh police station on January 28. Later, police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her  before the court where her statement was recorded under 164 Cr.PC.

SHO, Sandesh police station, Arbind Singh said that Anshu Devi, wife of Ranjan Yadav, had disappeared from her in-laws’ house at Dihari village under Sandesh police station around midnight on January 22, 2017, while sleeping and her father Ram Awadhesh Yadav had lodged a named FIR with Sandesh police station against her in-laws.

On January 28, the woman appeared at Sandesh police station herself and narrated her woes. She said that she escaped from the house as she was tortured. On way two youths accosted her and took her to an unknown place where they gangraped her for two days after which she fell unconscious. When she regained consciousness, she informed her parents and came to Sandesh police station. But she could not tell the identity of the two youth.
