Minor girl raped at Rohtas village, accused arrested

Sasaram : Modesty of a minor girl, a Class V student, was outraged by a youth at village Jamrod under Dinara police station in Rohtas district on May 4, 2019.  A named FIR was lodged with Dinara police station in this connection and police arrested the accused.

SHO, Dinara police station, Rajesh Kumar, quoting the FIR, said that the girl’s mother gone to her parents on May 3, 2019, leaving her daughter and her brother behind at the house at village Jamrod while her father had gone on daily work. on May 4  morning, the girl had gone to graze her goat in the field where a youth of the same village Ratan Chaudhry caught her, took her to a secluded place, and outraged her modesty.

The SHO said that police brought the girl over to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for medical examination and arrested the accused Ratan Chaudhary and sent him to jail. He said that police would produce the girl before the court on May 6 to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.
