New Delhi : Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal on August 19, 2018, appealed to all Food Processing Industries across the country to contribute generously to the Kerala cause.
The appeal by the Union Minister has come in the backdrop of severe floods that have ravaged the state of Kerala and left thousands homeless, according to a PIB release.
Union Minister Badal had also earlier requested companies to come forward in response to which ITC and Britannia delivered 3 lakh packets of biscuits to State Government of Kerala on August 18. The packets were delivered to officials at Trivandrum, Kochi and Malapuram for further distribution among the flood affected people of the state.
