Bagaha: Pheku Kushwaha, 52, son of Rucha Kushwaha of village Dawanaha Navkatola

under Dhandha police station in Bagaha police district, was killed in a violent land dispute on October 21, 2018, early morning. SHO, Dhanaha police station, Harendra Prasad, said that the body was found near the house of the deceased’s son Ramashis Kushwaha.
Local sources said that the deceased had a few years back left his native village and living with another woman near Semara police station in Bagaha police district. Pheku had gone to his native village on October 20, 2018, to settle an old land dispute with some villagers.
Dhanaha police have lodged a case on the statement of the deceased’s son Ramashis Kushwaha. Police brought the over to Sub-Divisional hospital for autopsy the same day. Police are yet to arrest anyone in connection with the incident.
