Patna : Novak Djokovic ( 11,685 points, Rafael Nadal ( 7,945 points), Roger Federer (6,950 points), and Dominic Thiem ( 4,925 points) have retained their World No 1, 2, 3 & 4 position respectively in the ATP rankings released on August 19, 2019, but Daniil Medvedev, 23, Russia, has jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 5 with 4,195 points after winning the Cincinnati Masters title last week. Richard Gasquet, France, has jumped  22 places to be ranked World No 34 with 1,280 points after reaching the SFs of Cincinnati Masters. 

Alexander Zverev, 22, Germany, remains World No 6 with 4,005 points while Kei Nishikori, Japan, has slipped two places to be ranked World No 7 with4,005 points. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Greece, has slipped 1 places and has been ranked World No 8 with 3,455 points while Karen Khachanov, Russia, remains World No 9 with 2,890 points. Robert Bautista Agut, Spain, has jumped 1 place to make his Top 10 debut with 2,575 points after reaching the QFs of Cincinnati Masters. He had also reached QFs of Rogers Cup recently.

David Goffin, Belgium, has jumped 4 places to be ranked World No 15 with 2,055 points after reachin final of Cincinnati Masters while Juan Martin de Porto has slipped 4 places to be ranked World No 16 with 2,050 points. Marin Cilic, Croatia, the 2014 US Open Champion, has slipped 5 places to be ranked World No 23 with 1,590 points. Lucas Pouille, France, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No 26 with 1,475 points after reaching QFs of Cincinnati Masters.

Miomir Kecmanovic, Serbia, has jumped 9 places to be ranked World No 49 with 1,022 points after reaching Round of 16 of Cincinnati Masters. Yoshihito Nishioka, Japan, has jumped 18 places to be ranked World No 59 with 946 points after reaching QFs of Cincinnati Masters.

India No 1 Prajnesh Gunneswaran has jumped 2 places to be ranked  World No 89 with 600 points. Ramkumar Ramnathan, KIndia, has also jumped 3 places to be ranked World No 177 with 284 points. Sumit Nagal, India, has jumped to places and is ranked World No 190 with 264 points. Saketh Myneni, India, has jumped 2 places to be ranked World No 248 with 178 points. Sasi Kumar Mukund, India, has jumped 5 places to be ranked World No285 with 148 points.

Christopher O Connell, 25, Australia, jas jumped 93 places to be ranked World No 220 with 213 points after winning an ATP Challenger title on August 18, 2019.
