Bettiah : The Media for Border Harmony (MBH) on July 13, 2017, strongly condemned the manhandling of some mediapersons by the security guards of Bihar Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav on State Secretariat campus on July 12. It demanded a high level probe into the incident and dismissal of the security guards involved in incident.
An urgent meeting of  `Media for Border Harmony’ was held at Christians quarters, Bettiah, on July 13 under the chairmanship of journalist Mohan Prasad Singh to discuss the issue. It criticised the behaviour of Tejaswi Yadav and alleged that the security guards attacked mediapersons at his behest.The meeting demanded formation of Mediamen Security Commission to prevent such incidents in future.
Several journalists including Ajay Kumar Sharma, Chhotelal Bhagat, Rabindra Kumar Gautam, Narendra Nath Tiwari and Manoj Mishra addressed the meeting.
