Ara : Hundreds of students boycotted examination of Maulvi and Fokania on May 15, 2017, at the Nemi Chand Shastri Girl High School centre allegedly for not being allowed to use unfair means at the examination.
Nemi Chand Shastri Girls High School has been made examination centre for the Maulvi and Fokania examinations. The invigilators did not allow the students to adopt unfair means at the examination. At this, all the examinees boycotted the examination and came out of the examination centre. They alleged that the school did not have a single Urdu teacher and their examination should be held where Urdu language is taught. They also staged demonstration outside the examination centre and raised slogans against the school administration and Bhojpur district administration.
The school authorities said that Urdu teacher was deputed at each examination hall and the students boycotted the examination because they were prevented from adopting unfair means at the examination. Ara SDO Navdeep Shukla along with the SDPO Sanjay Kumar rushed to the spot and tried to persuade the examinees to take the exam but in vain.
SDPO Sanjay Kumar said that the allegation of the examinees that Urdu teachers were not deputed at the examination centre was wrong and added some students boycotted the exam as they were not allowed to use unfair means at the examination hall and also instigated other examinees to boycott the exam.
