Married woman murdered at Bhojpur village

Ara  : A  married woman was murdered at Jokata village under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district while sleeping in her room at her in-laws’ house in the wee hour on February 25, 2017. Later,  police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Chandi police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

SHO, Chandi police station, Dhananjay Sharma said that Rita Devi, wife of Saroj Kumar, was sleeping in her room at village Jokata when an unidentified armed miscreants entered her room and slit her throat open and  escaped from there. The SHO said love affair is suspected said to be the reason behind the incident.
