Ara : Two separate FIRs was lodged with Town police station, Ara, and Nawada police station, Ara, against owners two security agencies on February 24 evening for alleged fraud and forgery though no arrest has so far been made in this regard. The FIRs were lodged on the direction of Bhojpur DM Birendra Prasad Yadav.

After the matter came to the notice of Bhojpur DM Birendra Prasad Yadav, he asked SI, Nawada police Station, Anand Rai, and SI, Town police station, Laxmi Patel, to inquire into it. During inquiry it was detected that Bijay Kumar Singh of Majhaua under Town Police Station and Surendra Singh of K G Road,Professor Colony, under Nawada police station were running security agencies without license.

It is mandatory for any person wishing to run a security agency to have license from the state Home Department under Bihar Security Agency Act, 2011. But owners of both the security agencies did not have license issued by the state Home Department and they also did not produce any paper before the authorities concerned.
