Married Woman Gangraped at Buxar Hotel, No Arrest

Buxar : Gang rape of a married woman at Vishwamitra Vihar Hotel under industrial Police Station in Buxar district came out of closest after the woman lodged an FIR with the Women’s Police Station in this connection gainst three persons including a youth from Bhojpur district.

After institution of FIR, police swung into action and started investigation into the matter. Police brought the woman to Buxar Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will also produce her before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar, to get her statement registered under Section 164 of CrPC.

Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma said that a youth of Ara in Bhojpur district booked a room at Vishwamitra Vihar Hotel under Industrial Police Station in Buxar district in his and the woman’s names  saying that they were husband and wife. Later, the youth called two of his friends and gangraped her at the hotel and escaped, he said.

The SP said that the woman was a resident of village Baruna and was married about six years back under Narahi police station area in Balia district in Uttar Pradesh but her in-laws pushed her out of home after six months of marriage and even her parents refused to accept her. The SP said that police are trying to find out as to how the woman reached the hotel.
