Man thrashed, hit with hot iron at Bhojpur village for allegedly stealing battery

Ara : Dhanjee Yadav, son of Sukhlal Yadav, not only thrashed and injured Akhilesh Kumar Yadav, son of Ranjan Yadav of village Babhangawa under Krishnagarha police station in Bhojpur District, on October 23, 2019 but and also poured petrol on his private parts and eyes and branded his body with hot iron charging him with stealing the battery from his tractor.

Later, a seriously injured Akhilesh Kumar Yadav was thrown on the outskirts of the village on October 26, 2019. Akhilesh was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital where his condition is stated to be serious. A named FIR was lodged by Krishnagarha police station against Dhanjee Yadav in this connection on the statement of Akhilesh Kumar Yadav on October 28, 2019. Police arrested Dhanjee Yadav and sent him to jail on October 29, 2019

SHO, Krishnagarha police station, Birendra Singh said that Akhilesh Kumar Yadav was sleeping at his house on October 23, 2019, when Dhanjee Yadav came and took him to the sand ghat for the loading of sand where he accused blamed him of stealing a battery of his tractor and thrashed injured him. He also put petrol on private parts and eyes of Akhilesh Kumar Yadav and when he fell unconscious, threw him on the outskirts of the village on October 26, the SHO said.

Later, Akhilesh Kumar Yadav was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital with the help of villagers and family members where his condition is stated to be critical. The SHO said that a named FIR was lodged by Krishnagarha police station on October 28 on the statement of the injured. After institution of FIR, Man police swung into action and conducted raids at Babhangawa village and arrested Dhanjee Yadav and sent him to jail.
