Man thrashed by villagers for trying to outrage woman’s modesty

Ara : The villagers caught and thrashed a youth at villagers Ranisagar under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district around midnight on April 8, 2017, when he entered a house to outrage modesty of a married woman. An FIR has been lodged with Shahpur police station on the statement of the husband of woman. SHO, Shahpur police station, Bipin Bihari said that Ramesh Kumar alias Mantu entered the house when the woman was sleeping. When he tried to tease her, she raised an alarm. Hearing her cry, her family members and villagers rushed to the spot and caught him. They thrashed him and later handed him over to police.
