Ara : A teenage girl has lodged an FIR with Nawada police station, Ara, against one Dhanjee on April 24, 2017, evening alleging he had outraged her modesty even as his marriage was scheduled for April 28, 2017. Police have taken Dhanjee under their custody for interrogation.
SHO, Nawada police station, Neyaz Ahamad said that Rani of village Sarana-Bharauli under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district and cousin of Dhanjee was married at Dalit tola Chandawa Housing Colony under Nawada Police Station. Dhanjee frequently visited her cousin sister and developed love affairs with her sister-in-law. Dhanjee was get married on April 28. Meanwhile, Dhanjee kidnapped the girl on April 22, 2017, when she had gone to attend call of nature and took her to Sarana-Bharauli. He locked her in a room and allegedly outraged her modesty.
Dhanjee told police that he was a driver by profession and loved the said girl. His family members had fixed his marriage somewhere and tilak was performed on April 18 and the marriage was to be solemnized on April 28, 2017. He also said that girl wanted to live with him and so she went with him on her own.
