Ara : A man, who was shot and injured at by two persons in a land dispute on October 26, 2020, succumbed to his injuries at his residence in the wee hour on December 13, 2020, at village Pawar under Pawana police station in Bhojpur District in South Bihar. The deceased was identified as Congress Yadav, 40, son of Baban Yadav of Pawar village. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Dharmendra Kumar, nephew of the deceased, alleged that Sanjay Yadav and Bhola Yadav of Pawar village had shot at and injured his uncle Congress Yadav on October 26, 2020, at the village. He was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of his serious condition. He underwent treatment there but when his condition did not improve, the doctors sent him home on November 19, 2020. Congress Yadav succumbed to his injuries in the wee hour on December 13.. Land dispute was said to be the cause behind the incident.
