Man stabs father to death at Kaimur village

Bhabhua : Dinesh Ram stabbed to death his father Aliyar Ram, 60, at village Kudasan under Bhabhua police station in Kaimur district, around midnight on May 16, 2018, for pension money and land in his name. He also tried to kill his mother Indravati Devi but she shut the door of her room.

Sanjay Ram, elder son of the deceased, with the help of villagers caught killer and his brother Dinesh Ram and handed him over to police. Plice brought the body over to  Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and lodged a named FIR with Bhabhua police station on the statement of Indravati Devi, wife of the deceased. Later, Dinesh Ram was sent to jail.

SHO, Bhabhua police station, Satyendra Ram, said that Aliyar Ram, a retired teacher, had returned from market on May 16 evening when his youngest son Dinesh Ram came and asked him to transfer all the land and his pension in his name. But, Aliyar Ram said that he would divide the land among his three sons equally and after that he went to sleep. Around  midnight, Dinesh Ram entered the room of his father and started beating him with bat, dragged him out of the room and stabbed him to death.
