Saharsa : Unidentified criminals stabbed to death Mohammad Allauddin, 40, near village Rupnagra under Sadar police station in Saharsa district on August 25, 2018, late night. After killing Allauddin, the criminals threw the body on the roadside and escaped. Allauddin was a resident of village Siraidepatti under Sadar police station, Saharsa. The law & order has deteriorated in Saharsa district in recent months.
Angry over the incident, the locals first staged demonstration at Bherdhari Chowk raising slogans against the district administration and later blocked the Dumrail Chowk.
SDPO, Saharsa, Prabhakar Tiwary, said police were investigating into the incident and the assailants would be arrested at the earliest. The body was sent to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, for post-mortem.
