Man shot dead by 4 bike borne criminals on Matiyar-Chiraiya Road in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : Four unidentified bike borne criminals shot dead Anil Mahto, 30, on January 28, 2020, noon, on Matiyar-Chiraiya road near Bhutahi under Sonbarsa police station in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar.

The criminals fired several round on Anil Mahto killing him on the spot. Anil, who was also riding a motorcycle, was a native of nearby village Matiyar Kalan. The villagers described the incident as  a revenge killing. The deceased ‘s brother was also killed three years ago and on January 9, 2020, a Sitamarhi court had sentenced to life imprisoment few accused in that case.
