Ara : Sunil Yadav, 35, son of Mushi Yadav, was killed while a middleage person Chand Deo Singh, 55, son of Baidyanath Singh, and Babita Devi, daughter of Chand Deo Singh, were injured in a group clash at village Salempur under Chandi police station in Bhojpur district on November 30, 2018.

Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. A named FIR has been lodged with Chandi police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.

SHO, Chandi police station, said that Sunil Yadav and Jagarnath Yadav of village Salempur were involved in an old dispute over passage through a piece of land. On November 30, both of them clashed. Later, people of one group started firing in which Sunil Yadav was killed on spot. When Chand Deo Singh and his daughter Babita Devi went to pacify them, they also received bullet injury.
