Bettiah :  Amaresh Giri , 25,  of village Enarwa under Enarawa police station under Narakatiaganj sub-division in West Champaran district was shot dead and two of his family members Ashwini Giri and Anjani Giri sustained gunshot injuries in a bloody land dispute on  March 23, 2017, morning.
Sources said that a dispute over a piece of land between Eganesh Giri and Amaresh Giri of village Enarwa was going
on for long. It turned violent on March 23 and Amaresh Giri was gunned down on the spot and two of his family members Ashwini Giri and Anjani Giri sustained injuries and admitted to Mainatand Primary health centre( PHC). Enarwa police station SHO Raj Kumar reached the place of occurrence and brought the bodyto MJK sadar hospital, Bettiah, for autopsy. The SHO said that police were searching for the assailants but they are at large.
