Saharsa: A criminal shot at thrice Salkhua resident Rajdeep Mehta near Sarba Dhala under Sadar Police station, Saharsa, in boroad daylight and easily escaped from there on his bike flaunting his firearm. Rajdeep was rushed to a private Surya Hospital by the villagers in serious condition.
Rajdeep told police that he was coming to Saharsa from his village on his bike when Hareram Yadav , who belongs to the same area, fired at him thrice near Sarba Dhala. Rajdeep said that he has an old enmity with Hareram. Police has started investigation into the incident but Hareram was yet to be arrested. The incident has once again made it clear that the criminals do not fear Saharsa police at all.
