4 arms smugglers arrested in Khagaria with firearms and cartridges

Khagaria: In a joint operation, Khagaria police and STF on Sunday arrested four inter-state arms smugglers at Maheshkhunt railway station with five pistol, 250 cartridge, nine magazine and a celphone. Saharsa SP Anil Kumar Singh described it as a big achievement of police. Of the four arrested criminals, Sabbir Singh and Charan Singh belong to Muradabad in UP while Barjesh Yadav hails from Saharsa district and Mohammad Akhtar belongs to Khagaria district, the SP said. The four arrested criminals were being interrogated, he said adding that police were looking for these criminals for quite somtime.
