Ara : Some unidentified bike borne armed miscreants shot at and injured one Sunil Kumar Gupta, 40, at Power House Road under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur District on August 2, 2020, late evening, when he was going to his house after closing his shop.
Sunil Kumar Gupta is son of trader Vaijnath Gupta. The injured was admitted to Shahpur Referral Hospital but the doctor referred him to Ara Sadar Hospital after first aid. An FIR was lodged with Shahpur police station in this connection and police are investigating the matter. and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO, Shahpur police station, said that Sunil Gupta lived in Mumbai and had come to his native village during lockdown two months ago and since then was living at the village at a house at Power House Road. His father Vaijnath Gupta runs a grocery shop at Shahpur. The SHO further said that Sunil Gupta was going to his house at Power House Road in the late evening from the market after closing his shop and when he reached near his house, some unidentified motorcycle borne armed miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene.
