Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, Rama Shankar Yadav, on June 24, 2017, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment one Bhishma Mishra for killing Kapil Sharma at village Bihta under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district about 15 years ago.
APP Yugeshwar Prasad said that Kapil Sharma was shot dead at village Bihta under Imadpur police station in Bhojpur district on February 21, 2002, when he was returning from his field. A named FIR was lodged with Imadpur police station against Bhishma Mishra on the statement of the deceased’s daughter alleging that the accused was pressurizing her father to withdraw a case against him and when her father did not yield, he killed him. After hearing both the parties, the ADJ awarded rigorous life imprisonment to Bhishm Mishra.
