Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, Ramesh Chandra Dwivedi, on January 31, 2019, sentenced to 7 years’ rigorous (RI) Sheru Yadav of Jagdishpur police station area for outraging the modesty of a teenage girl three-and-a-half year back. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.
Special PP (POCSO) Saroj Kumari said that a teenage girl was cutting grass along with her younger sister at a village under Jagdishpur police station area about three- and-a- half year ago when Sheru Yadav of the village shooed away the younger sister and forcibly took the elder sister to a secluded place and outraged her modesty. A named FIR was lodged with Jagdishpur police station against Sheru Yadav in this connection.
