Ara : A named FIR has been lodged with Women’s police station, Ara, on September 9, 2018, against Vikas alias Bittu for allegedly outraging modesty of a married woman for the past 18 months besides making video of the act. Police brought the survivor over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and will produce her before the court on September 10, 2018, to get her statement recorded under Section 164 CrPC.
SDPO, Pankaj Kumar, said that Vikas alias Bittu was living at the house of an armyman at Koelwar under the same police station in Bhojpur district for the last two years and taught the woman’s two children while her husband was on duty away.Armyman’s He also completed his BEd course with the money of the armyman.
One day, the SDPO said, Vikas intoxicated the woman and outraged her modesty about one- and- a – half – year ago and also videogarphed the incident. When she regained consciousness, he showed her the video and started blackmailing and raping her at regular interval, the SDPO said. She kept mum as he had threatened to kill her and her children if she did not yield to his dictate and continued outraging her modesty, he said.
When her husband came home on leave, the woman narrated her ordeal to him on September 8, 2018, evening. Her husband came to the Women’s police station with his wife and lodged a named FIR against Vikas who fled away seeing him. The SDPO said that police were conducting raids at all the possible places to arrest Vikas.
