Patna : Two unidentified bike borne criminals shot dead a resident of South Mandiri Ravi Rai, 34, under Buddha Colony Police Station, Patna, on May 27, 2019, early morning, when he was on morning walk. He was shot dead near Jaikunj Apartment near Kidwaipuri Park with bullets hitting him in the head and stomach. Ravi Rai died on the spot. Police remain clueless about the identity and whereabouts of the criminals.
SHO, Buddha Colony Police Station, Dayanand Singh, said that the deceased had criminal antecedents had been chargesheeted in 19 criminal cases. SHO Singh said that Ravi Rai had been chargesheeted by Buddha Colony police station in 14 cases. He had come out of jail about 6 months back on bail.
