Ara : A man killed his wife Batasia Devi at Mahadalit Tola at Pandura Rampur village under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur District on October 20, 2019, for objecting to his illicit relation with another woman.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and also lodged a named FIR with Sandesh police station against the man but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Sandesh police station, said that Hajan Musahar had illicit relation with a woman living in his neighbourhood. Whenever his wife objected to it, he thrashed her. On October 20, when she again objected to it, he killed with traditional weapon and escaped from the spot.
