Ara: A middleage person succumbed to his injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Wednesday evening during treatment. SHO, Ara Muffassil Police station, said that Ram Ratan Ram, 45, son of Bindeshwari Ram of Alipur village under Ara Muffassil police station, was seriously injured in a group clash that ensued during a quarrel among children of the village on June 30. The injured was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctor there had referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital in a precarious condition. Two FIRs were lodged with Ara Muffassil police station by both the groups. The SHO said that after the death of Ram Ratan Ram, the matter would be treated as murder case and the police were searching for the culprits.
