Man injured as miscreants hurl bomb on him at Bhojpur village

Ara : Some unidentified miscreants hurled bomb on Shivshankar Kumar, father of an Lok Jantantrik Party (LJP) leader, at village Rajpur under Tarari police station in Bhojpur district on May 28, 2019, night. An injured Shivshankar Kumar was admitted to Tarari Primary Health Centre(PHC).

Irate villagers blocked the Nasariganj-Sakaddi State Highway on May 29 morning paralysing the  movement of vehicles for about two hours. They raised slogans and demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officials.

SHO, Tarari police station, said that Shivshankar Kumar was sleeping at his shop at village Rajpur on May 28, 2019. Around midnight, some unidentified miscreants hurled bomb on him. Hearing the sound, the villagers rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to Tarari PHC. Election related enmity is said to be the cause behind the incident. The SHO said that police are investigating the matter and also are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
