Arun Lata Sharma
Sitamarhi : Bhatha Thakur, 40, a painter by profession and a resident of village Paroha under Dumra block, was crushed to death by a speeding Delhi bound bus near Parsauni Chowk on NH 77 in Sitamarhi district on November 23, 2018. Thakur was going on duty on foot.
Angry over the incident, the villagers blocked the NH for several hours that caused a lot of hardships to passengers and daily commuters. They lifted the blockade after positive assurance from officials and local MLA Sunil Kumar Kushwaha.
