Ara : With a view to impressing a girl he loved, Neeraj Gupta of village Birampur under Koelwar Police Station in Bhojpur district, became a liquor smuggler to buy a bike. Police arrested him on July 28, 2018, with 30 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL). He was sent to jail.

SHO, Town police station, Ara, said that Neeraj Gupta of Birampur village under Koelwar police station fell in love with a girl and to impress her, he wanted to buy a motorcycle but his family members refused to fulfil his demand. Neeraj then to sell liquor and became liquor smuggler to buy a motorcycle. He used bring IMFL from Buxar district and sell sold it in different part of Bhojpur district to earn money so that he could purchase a motorcycle. But his dream was shattered when police arrested him with 30 bottles of IMFL.
