Siwan: One Lalu Kumar, owner of a merry go-round (jhula-wala), was beaten to death by a shop-owner at Mahaviri Mela at village Nathanpura under G.B. Nagar police station in Siwan district late on Monday night. Lalu had on Monday night slept on a new cot (palang) at an adjacent furniture shop as it was raining. Incensed over it, the furniture shop-owner beat him to death. On getting information, the local police reached the shop and arrested two persons in this connection.
