Man arrested for killing teenage girl at Bagaha village

Bagaha : Sudarshan Gond, 32, son of Dhorah Gond of village Koluha-Chautarawa under Chautarwa police station in Bagaha police district, was arrested and sent to Bagaha jail on January 23, 2018, on the charge of killing a teenage girl of the same village on January 15, 2018.

Bagaha SP Arbind Kumar Gupta said on January 23 that the deceased’s father Rambilas Bhar had lodged a case of killing against unknown persons with Chautarwa police station. When the police started investigating the case, they came to know that the deceased had gone to nearby field at the village for cutting grass where the accused finding her alone tried to molest her as scratch marks were found on her body. The accused killed her to suppress his crime.

The SP neither denied nor confirmed the rape saying it will be confirmed only after the  autoplay report comes. But the accused had admitted killing the girl by tying her dupatta around her neck by Dupatta, the SP said.
