Love birds commit suicide at Hajipur

Hajipur (Vaishali): Two love birds committed suicide by jumping into river Ganga from Mahatma Gandhi Setu on December 31, 2016, morning. The boy and girl jumped from pillar number-35 of Setu around 9.15 am. Some passersby informed Ganga Bridge police station about the incident when they saw the couple jumping from pillar number-35. On getting information, police reached the spot and tried to fish out the bodies. Later, police informed NDRF and a team reached there. Ganga Bridge police station SHO Avinish Kumar said that though the NDRF team searched for the bodies for several hours, they failed to locate them.
