Buxar : Over a dozen criminals entered the A4, B1, B2, B7, B8 coaches of 12310 New Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Express near Bhadaura railway station under Danapur rail division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, when the train stopped at the outer signal due to Red light for about half an hour in the wee hour on April 9, 2017, and looted properties and cash from the passengers at pistol point. After looting the passengers, the miscreants got down from the train near Gahmar railway station and escaped.
When the train reached Patna, the passengers made much hue and cry and levelled charges against the coach attendant and staffs for patronising the miscreants. Railway SP Jitendra Mishra said that the coach attendant has been taken into custody and the staffs on duty are being quizzed. He said that the miscreants will be arrested very soon. PRO, Danapur Rail Division of ECR informed that six constables and an ASI of the escort party had been suspended.
