Lantern age is over due to electrification of every house : Nitish

Bagaha : Bihar CM and JD(U) National President Nitish Kumar on May 6, 2019, addressed two big election meetings at Babuyeetola field under Bagaha assembly segment and Rupahitand under Bhitaha block under Valmikinagar assembly segment in Valmikinagar parliamentary constituency (PC) in West Champaran District in North Bihar and assured that Bagaha will be first in the list of new districts when a new revenue district is created. At present, Bagaha is a Police District. Nitish
said that he has always starts new work from West Champaran. He was seeking votes for JD(U) nominee from Valmikinagar PC Baidyanath Mahto, a former Minister.

Nitish Kumar was responding to the long cherished demand of the locals for upgradation of Bagaha Police District to Revenue District. He told the gathering at both the places that the lantern era is over due to electrification of every house. He said that under the ‘Sast Nishchay Yojna’ the basic needs of the people would be taken care of.

Nitish said that the rule of law has been established in the entire state and sobriquet of Mini Chambal has become a folklore in this now region as all the dacoit gangs of Champaran had been eliminated and the people in rural and urban areas now move freely even late in the night while during Lalu-Rabari regime for 15 years people used to shut their doors even before sunset. Nitish said that bickering among Grand Alliance constituents was coming to surface now.

JD(U) nominee Baidyanath Mahto and former MP Kailash Baitha,  Zareena Khatoon, Chairman  Bagaha Nagar Parishad, Prabhat Ranjan, former Bagaha MLA also addressed the meetings.
