Land broker shot dead at Bhojpur village

Ara :  Some armed miscreants shot dead one Lakhi Singh at village Tetariya under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on December 18, 2018, morning. Tension prevails in and around the village following the incident. Plice brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.

SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Lakhi Singh alias Pramod, a land broker, was sitting at the gate of his house at village Tetariya on December 18 morning. Suddenly, two motorcycle borne miscreants of the same village reached there and shot dead Lakhi Singh and escaped.

An FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station and police arrested two miscreants along with 25 live cartridges and two guns.
