Ara : An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of police Prakash Razak committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his barrack at Karnamepur Police Oupost (OP) on December 18, 2018. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
DSP, Jagdishpur, Manjeet Kumar said that the ASI Prakash Razak was posted at Karnamepur OP. On December 18 afternoon, he hanged himself from the ceiling of barrack he lived in and committed suicide. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. Prakash Razak was a native of Gopalganj district and was earlier posted at Tier police station. He was posted at Karnamepur OP about two months ago.
