Patna : Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on October 16, 2017, said here that RJD Chief and former Union Minister Lalu Prasad was facing the logical consequence of his deeds. He was replying to Lalu’s allegation that he was being harassed by the CBI, ED and Income-Tax Department under a conpiracy hatched PM Narendra Modi and CM Nitish Kumar. Nitish said he does not reply to absurd accusations of such people.
Replying to a question, Nitish said that the education sector is facing different problems across the country including Bihar. He said that the Centre and states concerned would have to work together to correct the system. Nitish said that to overcome the shortage of school teachers, teachers are being appointed on a massive scale. He said that efforts were on to ensure that the teachers get their salary on the first day of every month. The CM said that the government was committed to improve the quality of education at higher secondary level.
