Buxar : One of the nine labourers who were injured in an accident at village Behara near an Over Bridge on January 26, 2021, succumbed to his injuries on January 31, 2021, during treatment at Patna. The deceased was identified as Gopal Kumar Chauhan alias Tuntun Chauhan, 25, son of Jitendra Kumar Chauhan of village Nadaw under Buxar Muffasil police station in Buxar District.
Nine labourers from Buxar had come to Kasap village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district January 26, 2021, on a three-wheeler for labour work.. After day long work, they were returning to their native village on a three-wheeler. When they reached near an Over Bridge at village Behara, a speeding car coming from opposite direction collided with the three- wheelers injuring all the labourers on the autorickshaw.
The locals rushed them to Ara Sadar Hospital but the doctors referred two of them to Patna Medical College and Hospital where Gopal Kumar Chauhan alias Tuntun Chauhan succumbed to his injuries on January 31, 2021. His family members came to Ara Sadar Hospital with the body for post-mortem.
