Labourer dies under mysterious circumstances in Bagaha

Bagaha : A labourer identified as Subhash Manjhi, 38, of village Dumawalia  under Ward No 9  of Nagar Parishad, Bagaha, died under mysterious circumstances on July 13, 2019.  Police sources said that the deceased was working as labourer of a businessman Vishwanath Kedia of Dumawalia under Pathakauli Police Outpost. The aides of the businessman allegedly left the body at Sub-Divisional Hospital, Bagaha, and disappeared.

Dr A K Tiwari, a doctor at Sub-Divisional Hospital, Bagaha, said the man was brought over to the hospital dead. Rinku Devi, wife of the deceased, has lodged a murder  case with police against three named person in this connection. SDPO, Bagaha, Sanjiv Kumar, said that police are investigating the case and  awaiting the autopsy to know the cause  of death.
