Labour supplier shot dead outside his residence at Katihar

Katihar : Vibhash Singh, 45, who supplied labourers for loading goods on rakes and also for unloading them at Katihar railway station, was shot dead by some bike borne criminals at 9 pm on March 14, 2017, outside his residence at Vijaynagar under Town Police Station, Katihar. Singh, who belonged to Saharsa district, was living at Katihar for the last ten years in a rented house, according to SHO, Town Police Station. He denied that Vibhash was a railway contractor. The SHO suspects business rivalry to be the reason behind Vibhash’s killing. Police are yet to arrest any accused though.
