Muzaffarpur: Merciless beating of a class XII student ( Section B) of Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Muzaffarpur, Uttam Kumar, by two students of the same school, both brothers, in a classroom has rocked the town. The video of the incident has gone viral. Kazimohammadpur police station, Muzaffarpur, has lodged a case against the two accused in this connection following directive of SSP Vivek Kumar.

The two accused identified as Tanmay Singh alias Gabbar of class XII and Tarun Singh alias Viccky of class XI are sons of Shashibhusan Singh alias Fauji, a strongman currently lodged in Sitamarhi jail. Uttam is a resident of Ramdayalunagar, Muzaffarpur. Tanmay and Tarun allegedly often beat students to establish their dominance and even school teachers are scared of them hence nobody came to the rescue of Uttam.

Uttam had complained to the school auody thorities against the activities of Tanmay and Tarun after which he was assaulted by the two accused probably on August 25, 2016. The accused allegedly also released the video of the incident to terrorise other students.

School principal said that if found guilty in the inquiry both Tanmay and Tarun would be suspended for ten days.
