Kosi Commissioner orders for cancellation of appointment of 24 teachers under Nauhatta block

Saharsa : District Programme Officer (DPO), Establishment, Saharsa, Rahul Chandra Chaudhary, following directive from Commissioner, Kosi Division, has asked Block Development Officer (BDO) cum Secretary, Teachers’ Appointment Unit, Nauhatta Block, Vivek Ranjan, to cancel the appointment of 24 school teachers appointed in June 2018 and take legal action against those responsible for their appointment.

These 24 teachers were appointed by Teachers’ Appointment Unit, Nauhatta Block. The DPO has referred to the report of the inquiry conducted by ADM, Saharsa, into these appointments in this connection.

Commissioner, Kosi Dvision, had earlier directed the Regional Deputy Director Education (RDDE), Saharsa, to cancel the appointment of 24 teachers following complaint lodged with him by Pankaj Pathak, BJP, Prashant Yadav, Congress, and Kamal Narayan Gupta.

ADM Dhirendra Kumar Jha had conducted inquiry into the matter. The ADM had found many irregularities in the appointment of these 24 teachers and recommended for cancellation of the same. DM, Saharsa, had also declared these appointments as illegal earlier.
